Lifestyle tees for trail people

Outdoor culture, lightly roasted.

Suburban Soft makes humorous t-shirts for hikers, riders, runners, and anyone who thinks the outdoors takes itself a little too seriously. First target: people who forget to yield to the uphill.

01 / The point of view

Good trails. Bad etiquette.

Suburban Soft makes sarcastic t-shirts for hikers, riders, runners, and anyone who thinks the outdoors takes itself a little too seriously. Look at Chet: born and raised in SW Portland, he always dreamed of a rugged life running chain at the mill or working the cranberry bogs. Instead, he ended up in a comfortable office cubicle. Somewhere along the way, the wild went suburban, the soft set in, and Chet realized he'd never grow out of it. Our first target? Atrocious trail etiquette — starting with a sharp, funny reminder to everyone who forgets to yield to the uphill.

The first
thing to mock.

Downhill hikers and riders who take the whole trail while someone else is earning every foot of elevation.

Wear the joke.
Make the point.

Part trail sign, part inside joke, and the start of a wider collection that pokes fun at life outdoors.

Soft isn't just the joke. It's the shirt.

Every design is printed on the Bella + Canvas 3001C — 4.2 oz Airlume combed and ringspun cotton. Thin, soft, broken-in from day one. The kind of shirt you reach for every time, unlike your buddy who won't reach for his hiking boots.
